DARE TO RISE
Elevate Youth Dance Festival is an educational and non-competitive dance event for dancers ages 9-18. Dancers grow as artists by participating in master classes and adjudicated performance, share dancing experiences, and celebrate excellence in dance. It is our goal for every dancer to leave feeling empowered to leap higher, create bigger, grow together, and dare to rise.
Our Trademarks
Solo/Duet/Trio/Quartet/Quintent Performance
The adjudication concert accepts solos, duet, trios, quartet, or quintet dance works choreographed by students or dance professionals working through participating studios. Small group choreography gives dancers a chance to discover and showcase their individual talents. This process gives students a sense of ownership about their performance. All performers receive audio feedback on their performance from a panel of dance professionals following the event.
Young Choreographers Category for Adjudication
This opportunity is unique to the Elevate Youth Dance Festival. Students are invited to either choreograph a piece for themselves or set it on other dancers and submit their work for adjudication. Those in the Young Choreographer’s category will enjoy a special one on one live feedback session with one of the adjudicators at the event, and an encore performance of their work in the Gala Concert.

In previous years Elevate Youth Dance Festival Gala has featured professional dance companies including Alternative Motion Project, Black Label Movement, Kaleena Miller Dance, Strong Movement, and many others!
